Job Title: Construction Account Executive
Location: London/Hybrid
Salary: £60,000 - £90,000 pa + benefits
We are pleased to be partnered with a leading independent Broker currently seeking an experience Construction Account Executive to join their expanding team in London, focusing on the UK construction market.
This role will include supporting an existing portfolio of clients and proactively driving company income and growth. You will meet renewal, cross-sell, and new business targets within set deadlines and budgets.
Role Responsibilities:
- Build trust and confidence with clients by demonstrating exceptional product knowledge.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key insurers, underwriters, and colleagues, collaborating with Account Executives and Handlers to grow both existing and new client accounts.
- Provide expert advice on current products and share in-depth knowledge of a wide range of construction products and contract terms.
- Work with operational and support teams to identify opportunities for cross-selling and expanding services, maximising product sales across the client base.
- Support the Construction team in achieving cross-selling and service expansion targets for the division.
- Engage with prospective clients, presenting the company's products with expertise and credibility.
- Participate in fee negotiation processes and manage them effectively.
- Plan and schedule appointments to optimise productivity, providing monthly activity reports
- Deliver presentations tailored to clients at all organisational levels.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience working with corporate clients.
- Minimum 5 years' experience
- Knowledge of policy terms, conditions, and warranties.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within budget constraints.
- Educated to a high standard (e.g., A-Level or equivalent) or demonstrable experience in a similar role.
- Acturis Experience preferred
- Ideally holds a minimum of Cert CII qualification.
