Description
The Key Responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant include:
- Maintaining and updating financial records.
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly financial reports.
- Processing invoices and payments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Hands on purchase and sales ledger work
- Inter-company transactions and reconciliations
- Collating payroll data in preparation for external payroll provider.
- Supporting the Accounting & Finance team in day-to-day operations.
- Providing administrative support as needed.
Profile
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
- A strong educational background in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Ideally payroll exposure or experience working with an external payroll provider
- Strong background in finance and a good knowledge of credits and debits
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
