They're made up of all types of people, coming together in London, the world's creative capital. Designers, artists, performers, thinkers, researchers and makers. Their students, staff and graduates form a global network of creatives, entrepreneurs and leaders. Together, their ideas change the world. Because the world needs creativity.

UAL are ranked highly across the board. First for specialist art and design, second in the world for Art and Design in the 2023 QS World University Rankings (for the fifth year in a row), ranked fifth in sustainability and two of their colleges were rated in the top three fashion schools in the world.

UAL are recruiting for an experienced change leader with substantial senior level programme and project management experience. You will support the delivery of strategic change through a complex project portfolio across three Colleges.

You will also be responsible for ensuring project delivery through a wide range of College wide colleagues (academic, technical and professional services) who will be leading workstreams of projects, as well as being able to liaise with University Arts London central teams such as Estates and HR, and external consultants/stakeholders who will form key delivery partners.

This is a 3-year FTC hybrid 50/50 role.

About you:

  • You will have substantial senior level programme and project management experience.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing a portfolio of projects from start to finish.
  • Experience of substantial stakeholder management in a complex organisational environment
  • Be an experienced change leader, capable of creating and delivering strategic plans, coordinating and meeting demands from multiple stakeholders.
  • Planning and managing resources
  • Be someone who effectively plans, prioritises, and manages the delivery of complex projects or activities to achieve long-term strategic objectives.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing teams with an ability to motivate and lead a team effectively, setting clear objectives to manage performance and strategic direction.
  • Strong leadership style, with self-awareness and the ability to influence, motivate and lead effectively across an organisation with a diverse set of stakeholders
