**Job Summary
We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled English Teacher to join a specialist school setting, working with learners who have additional needs including Autism, ADHD, SLD, PMLD, and other complex conditions. You'll design and deliver literacy support that helps each student thrive in their own way.
**Job Type
Full-time / Long-term
**Essential Requirements
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one)
- Demonstrable experience teaching students with SEN in the UK
- Confident in managing classroom dynamics and collaborating with staff
- Availability Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
**Education/Qualification
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
**Experience
A background in SEN education is vital. Prior work with a variety of learning profiles, including those working well below national curriculum levels, is highly beneficial.

- Plan and adapt English lessons to meet individual learning goals
- Use P Scales and specialised literacy frameworks
- Build nurturing, respectful relationships with students
- Foster a safe and engaging classroom environment
- Provide assistance with personal care as necessary
