Are you an experienced LSA who is keen to undertake a new challenge to support the learning of pupils with additional needs in the Tower Hamlets area.
Academics are looking to recruit a part time (5 mornings) LSA to work on a long term basis at a school in Tower Hamlets to assist with the learning of a pupil who is due to join them in Year 4. The school have advised that the role will start in September 2024 and therefore all applications must be received by mid-day on 21st August 2024.
The school would like to appoint a LSA who has recent experience working within the borough of Tower Hamlets so have knowledge of referral processes and CAHMS. The students joining the school will be in Year 4 so KS2 and personal care experience would be preferable but not essential.
Described as "a thriving and vibrant primary school" the school is located a short walk many stationsso the school is ideally situated for those wishing to commute via public transport for other areas of Tower Hamlets. The appointed LSA will be working sat a school that is rated "Good" in their last inspection (2019) on an initial contract basis (£42-£60 per day PAYE) with a view to permanent offerings subject to funding.
Applicants for this LSA role must have:
- Experience working with pupils with SEND
- Child workforce DBS (Ideally on update service)
- 2 recent school based references
- Right to work in the UK
