Role: Residential Conveyancer Locum

Location: Huddersfield

Duration: Immediate start for at least 3 months

Hourly Rate: £40 - £45 per hour

CRA Consulting is currently seeking an experienced Conveyancing Locum to join a reputable high street practice in Huddersfield. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled conveyancer to provide essential support on a temporary basis.

About the Role:

As a Conveyancing Locum, you will be responsible for managing a varied caseload, ensuring all transactions are handled efficiently and effectively. This role is office-based and requires a thorough understanding of all areas of conveyancing, including:

  • Residential sales and purchases
  • Leasehold and freehold transactions
  • Re-mortgages
  • Transfers of equity
  • New build transactions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a diverse caseload of conveyancing matters from inception to completion.
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transactions.
  • Conducting title checks, drafting contracts, and managing all necessary legal documentation.
  • Providing expert legal advice and guidance to clients.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in all aspects of conveyancing.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Immediate availability to start.
