Our client is currently seeking a seasoned and highly motivated Senior Business Analyst to join their team on a day rate contract basis. As a leading provider in the finance services sector, this is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to own and drive forward a large scale, end-to-end data migration.
The successful candidate will:
- Have led several large-scale data migrations from end-to-end within the Financial Services and/or Banking sectors, migrating data & assets from Source to Target systems.
- Preferably have had experience leading core banking data migrations.
- Have experience leading the full migration delivery cycle from Discovery & defining the Migration Strategy & Approach, Transition States definition & Source Systems & Data Scope through Delivery & Data Mapping, ETL to Testing & Implementation events is essential and non-negotiable.
- Be equipped to assist the Project Manager in planning & implementing the business & technical delivery engaging with 3rd Party Partners.
- Have experience on data cleanse & identifying data integrity issues engaging with business & technical stakeholders in their resolution.
- Have worked with business & technical stakeholders to define Migration requirements including technical & business reconciliation points, inflight scenarios/processes & asset migration strategy & requirements/processes.
- Have an understanding of the transformation journey of data, from Source to Target, during data mapping phase.
- Have an understanding of the ETL process and ability to engage with technical teams to ensure migration requirements are integrated into this process. Also ensuring that data/information security protocols are adhered to.
- Experience of feeding into, working to &/or owning Migration Runbooks.
Have an understanding of ETL reconciliation points.
Character specification:
- The successful candidate should be a self starter who is motivated, adaptable and receptive with an ability to think both strategically and critically.
- They should strike the balance between approachable and receptive, whilst also remaining committed to driving the migration forward.
- They should be keen to take control and own the migration, experience working at a senior and acting as a point of reference for the project as a whole level is key.
- They should be confident and comfortable managing and negotiating with senior level stakeholders.
Day Rate: £550 per day, inside IR35.
Contract duration: 6 months, with potential prospect of extension beyond.
Work pattern: Hybrid
Start Date: ASAP.
