We are actively recruiting for a full-time Behaviour Mentor position in a wonderful school located in Welwyn Garden City. This role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.
About the Role: As a Behaviour Mentor, you will:
- Support children's learning and personal growth in a positive and encouraging environment.
- Foster a safe, supportive, and engaging space for students to thrive as a Behaviour Mentor.
- Build strong connections with students, ensuring they feel comfortable and supported both in and out of the classroom.
- Work collaboratively with fellow staff to prioritise student progress and well-being as a Behaviour Mentor.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children in the UK, with references available.
- A passion for working with children, especially those with SEND.
- Willingness to support SEND students as a Behaviour Mentor.
- Must have a valid Child and Adult DBS or be willing to obtain one.
- Reside within or near Welwyn Garden City or be able to commute.
