Medical Receptionist

- Working Hours: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 08:00 - 16:00 (1-hour lunch)
We are seeking a friendly and professional Medical Receptionist for a temporary position in Woodstock. The role involves welcoming patients warmly, managing appointments, and providing excellent customer service. This position is ideal for someone who is empathetic, has strong communication skills, and can ensure a comfortable and reassuring environment for patients.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Greet patients warmly, ensuring they are comfortable and provided with a drink upon arrival.
- Manage the reception area, maintaining a welcoming and organised environment.
- Handle phone calls, schedule appointments, and update patient records on the system.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient needs with empathy and efficiency.
- Ensure all interactions are conducted with professionalism and a friendly demeanour.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year experience working on reception, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.
- Must have a current DBS certificate.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Warm, welcoming, and empathetic personality.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and with a positive attitude.
