AJ Chambers are proud to be partnered closely with an award-winning, national law firm as they look to hire their first dedicated L&D professional to join their HR team.
The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, delivery and evaluation of training programs across the business and be responsible for shaping the overall L&D business strategy with a key focus in implementing system solutions to ensure the efficient delivery and tracking of effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
Design & Development
- Create and update training programs and materials, such as e-learning courses, workshops, and manuals.
- Build and manage a comprehensive training library, sourcing suitable content as needed.
- Work with subject matter experts to ensure training materials are precise and applicable.
- Partner with department leaders to identify training needs and address skill gaps.
- Assist in the implementation of development plans and career advancement pathways.
- Encourage a culture of continuous learning and growth within the organisation.
Delivery
- Conduct dynamic and interactive training sessions, both face-to-face and online.
- Employ diverse training methods to accommodate various learning styles and optimise learning results.
- Collaborate with the HR team to plan and organise training sessions, ensuring all logistical elements like venues, equipment, and materials are arranged.
Evaluation & Improvement
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using feedback, surveys, and assessment tools.
- Continuously enhance training programs by incorporating feedback and addressing changing organizational needs.
Candidate Profile:
- Facilitation and presentation skills are essential
- Key stakeholder management experience
- Great communication, organizational and planning skills
- The ability to work well both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Knowledge and experience working with LMS and other training systems and tools
- Experience working for a multi-site business is preferable but not essential
