An exciting opportunity has arisen for a bright and enthusiastic Administrator to join this organisation on a permanent basis. Being part of a small thriving team, the Sales Coordinator will enjoy the variety of working within a busy and ever changing environment.

This is a full time, office based position.

Due to the location of this company, interested candidates must have their own form of reliable transport as there are no public transport links to the location.

Key areas of responsibility

  • Telephone and customer liaison
  • Order processing
  • Administration
  • General office support

Telephone work

  • Stock availability enquiries and pricing enquiries
  • Order enquiries
  • Customer complaints & claims
  • Establish delivery requirements and notify delivery dates

Order Processing

  • Input customer orders onto computer system
  • Match and check special prices against corresponding Special Price Agreement

Project Coordination

  • Obtain and update delivery and material schedules
  • Liaise with Sales Office Manager re delivery requirements

Administration

  • Maintain live order file
  • Documentation filing
  • Deal with credit requests and issue required credit notes without delay

Skills required

  • Positive and helpful telephone manner
  • Ability to work pro-actively and accurately under pressure
  • Ability to prioritise day-to-day tasks
  • Ability to multi-task simultaneously
  • Good understanding of figures & numeracy
  • Good communicator
  • Computer literate - Windows based systems
