Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst with extensive experience in the investment management industry. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. Critical to this role is hands-on experience with the Advent Geneva system.
Candidates without this Advent Geneva experience will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
- Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement system solutions that align with business objectives.
- Provide expertise in the Advent Geneva system, ensuring that solutions are effectively integrated and optimised.
- Conduct data analysis and reporting to support business decision-making.
- Assist in the testing and validation of new system features and enhancements.
- Develop and deliver training to end-users on new processes and systems.
- Maintain and update process documentation as necessary.
- Participate in project planning and execution to ensure timely delivery of solutions.
Essential Qualifications:
- Advent Geneva system experience is critical. Applicants without this experience will not be considered.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the investment management sector.
- Strong understanding of investment management processes, including portfolio accounting, trade settlements, and performance reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise between business and technical teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
