ERP Support Analyst (Epicor)

Chapman Tate Associates is working with a leading manufacturing business to hire a dedicated Epicor Support Analyst. The Epicor Support Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and optimisation of their Epicor ERP system. This role involves providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and working closely with various departments to enhance system functionality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support for the Epicor ERP system, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Collaborate with various departments to understand their needs and provide solutions to improve system functionality.
  • Conduct regular system maintenance, updates, and backups to ensure optimal performance.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, including user guides and training materials.
  • Assist in the implementation of new modules, features, and system upgrades.
  • Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective utilisation of the Epicor system.
  • Analyse system performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Work with external vendors and support teams as needed to resolve complex issues.
  • Ensure data integrity and security within the Epicor system.

Required Experience:

  • Experience working with Epicor ERP systems in a support or analyst role.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and business operations.
  • Proficient in SQL, database management, and report writing tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Experience with Epicor ERP implementation and upgrade projects is a plus.
