Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting a Supply Chain Manager to join a Public Sector organisation in West Midlands. The role is a permanent position which offers hybrid working.
The Role:
- Provide technical advice on product specifications and supply chain as required for construction and maintenance projects
- Responsible for managing external relationships with external suppliers and contractors
- Develops and maintain a supply chain monitoring system which will help to review supply chain performance
- Take a lead in identifying innovative products or methods
- Conduct market analysis on new potential suppliers
- Establish consistent product specifications and value for money supply chains across all construction and maintenance activities
The Person:
- Public Sector supply chain or procurement experience
- Experience working at a senior level within a complex organisation
- Knowledge of construction and maintenance activities
