Our client, a leading engineering firm, is seeking a Manufacturing Operative to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in casting parts using silicon moulds, performing parts inspection, and adapting the mechanics of silicone tools for optimal performance. They will also need to maintain a proactive attitude towards downstream departments.
Key Requirements:
- Casting parts using silicon moulds
- Parts inspection
- Understanding the behaviour of silicone tools and adapting the mechanics for maximum performance
- Having a proactive attitude towards downstream departments
Essential Experience / Qualities:
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Solid, logical decision-making skills.
- Good hand-to-eye coordination and dexterity, physical fitness.
- Excellent communication skills, good team worker, flexible, and able to work under pressure.
- Excellent timekeeping and reliability.
Desirable Experience / Qualities:
- Vacuum casting experience or similar transferable skills.
- Engineering apprenticeship.
- Problem-solving attitude.
- Computer literacy.
The successful candidate will benefit from a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package. The standard working hours are 07.00 am to 3 pm, Monday to Friday, with a 30-minute lunch break.
