Salary: £14.90 - £18.63 Per Hour - D.O.E

Location: Kent, Sevenoaks

Hours: 37 Hours – Day Shifts

Healthcare Clinical is looking for a Senior Resident Support Worker to join a highly professional Nursing Home within the Sevenoaks area, where they have transformed from a Residential Care Home to a Nursing Home. The ideal Senior Resident Support Worker will have experience working with the elderly and must have a Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care or working towards this. This is a fantastic opportunity for the Senior Resident Support Worker to collaborate with a well-established provider.

The Senior Resident Support Worker will assist the Day Care Team with daily duties and mentor them where needed.

Senior Resident Support Worker Duties:

  • Administering and Safe handling of medication
  • Keep care plans up to date for each resident.
  • Ensuring care plans are filled out to a high standard by the team.
  • To make sure the resident's well-being and personal-centred care are to a high-quality standard.
  • Keeping in line and up to date with the home policies and procedures
  • Conducting supervision meetings once every 2 months

Senior Resident Support Worker Requirements:

  • To have an NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care or to be working towards it
  • 5 GCSE or equivalent
  • The Senior Care Assistant will be competent in medication handling and administering.
  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office - Word, excel, outlook, and have IT skills.
  • Empathetic, sympathetic, and respectful towards all residents and staff members
  • Ability to work towards deadlines with accuracy and diligence.
  • Understanding person-centered care
