KYC - 6 month - Asset Management

Our client is seeking a diligent KYC Onboarding Analyst to join their Asset Management Alternatives Private KYC team in London. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients to ensure an excellent client onboarding experience while mitigating risks associated with local regulations. You'll be part of a dynamic team that manage the control framework and oversight of a broad spectrum of firm policies impacting the client on-boarding process.

As a KYC Onboarding Analyst, your role will be pivotal in ensuring compliance with various regulations such as AML/KYC, Dodd Frank, EMIR, MiFID, FATCA, etc. You will be responsible for conducting thorough due diligence checks and escalating any areas of concern to Legal and Compliance. Your excellent communication skills will be utilised in liaising with external stakeholders, reducing delays for go-live. You will also contribute to the development of the team's policies and procedures reflecting changing regulatory requirements. Your commitment to providing excellent client service will shine through in your responsiveness and accuracy.

Responsibilities:

  • Undertake customer due diligence checks to ensure adherence to Anti Money Laundering policies, procedures and regulatory framework.
  • Conduct PEP, sanction and adverse media screening.
  • Communicate effectively with external stakeholders.
  • Support the development of the team's policies and procedures.
  • Provide excellent client service in responsiveness and accuracy.
  • Perform all necessary regulatory checks to facilitate the opening of new client accounts.

Requirements

The ideal KYC Onboarding Analyst brings proven analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and meticulous attention to detail. You are adept at building relationships and can communicate complex issues effectively. Your strong organisational skills enable you to manage competing priorities efficiently. Knowledge of financial markets, products, CIP/KYC regulations would be beneficial but not essential. Above all, your commitment to providing excellent client service sets you apart.

  • Proven analytical skills and problem-solving ability.

  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Knowledge of financial markets and products is beneficial.
  • Understanding of Customer Identification Programs (CIP)/Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations is advantageous.
  • Experience in providing excellent client service.
