Avalon is currently supporting a client of ours within the West Midlands for the recruitment of a Housing Quality & Service Improvement Manager.

The Opportunity:

My client in the West Midlands is seeking a Housing Quality & Service Improvement Manager for a 12-month fixed-term period. This role will have a sole purpose on service delivery and improvement for both tenants and leaseholders. Having a clear insight and knowledge of Social Housing and the regulator is significant to proceeding with this role.

The successful candidate will:

  • Support the Council's commitment to keeping tenants and leaseholders central to service improvement.
  • Contribute to the delivery of the Social Housing (Regulation) Act 2023
  • Help manage and improve a housing stock for tenants and leaseholders
  • Assist in delivering a transformational housing programme
  • Deliver key improvements in asset compliance
  • Lead preparations for regulatory inspections, including: Procuring external support
  • Support the leadership team with performance framework updates

Further information:

  • 12 month contract
  • 37 hours per working week
  • Hybrid working
  • £32,900 - £41,511 per annum

Requirements:

  • Knowledgeable about the housing landscape and the Regulator's role
  • DBS in place on the update service
  • Full UK drivers licence with access to a vehicle
