We are on the lookout for a Junior Automation Developer to play a pivotal role in our services team. This position is integral to the lifecycle of process automation, focusing on the development, testing, and deployment of robotic automation solutions. As a member of our automation team, you will work closely with stakeholders and internal customers to achieve the company's strategic objectives. Training and development will be provided, enabling you to excel in your role and manage a portfolio of customers and projects.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities & Duties of the Role:

  • Manage multiple automation projects to deliver high-quality products.
  • Conduct peer reviews of automation structures, code, and workflows to ensure best practice solutions.
  • Seek continuous feedback to enhance your development skills.
  • Assist in technical feasibility assessments for automation opportunities.
  • Contribute to the design and solution architecture before development.
  • Maintain and help govern automation operating models.
  • Address technical infrastructure and architecture requirements.
  • Ensure project delivery aligns with playbooks and timelines, highlighting risks or issues.
  • Document test procedures and scenarios for user acceptance testing.
  • Support the deployment process and operational go-live.
  • Define solution change requests and update designs as necessary.
  • Create reusable automation components in collaboration with business process owners.
  • Contribute to the development of automation playbooks and best practices.
  • Pursue professional development relevant to your role, including training and certifications.

Core Technical Requisites:

  • Proficient use of UiPath, with a strong emphasis on ‘Modern Automation'.
  • UiPath certifications including Developer Foundations, Advanced Developer, Enterprise Framework, and Solution Architecture.
  • Expertise in UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, and REFramework for developing and managing scalable bots.
  • Strong programming skills in VB.NET, with C# or Python being highly desirable for custom scripting and automation.
  • Proficiency in automating complex business processes and integrating applications using APIs.
  • Experience with SQL and database integration for data manipulation within automations.
  • Familiarity with version control using GIT and adherence to secure coding practices.
  • Knowledge of Orchestrator administration for bot scheduling, monitoring, and role-based access control.

Technically Advantageous:

  • A track record of successful project delivery.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including macros or Visual Basic scripts.
  • Experience with additional scripting technologies or programming languages such as Java, C, C#, Python, or .Net.
  • An understanding of workflow logic and the ability to conceptualise business processes as automated solutions.
