Position Overview: As a Assistant Accoutant you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial health of the organisation. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of financial planning, reporting, analysis, and strategy implementation. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will provide insights and guidance to support decision-making and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to optimise profitability and sustainability.
  • Prepare and analyse financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
  • Manage cash flow, budgeting, and financial modelling to support operational efficiency.
  • Oversee accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Evaluate and mitigate financial risks.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis and insights.
  • Lead and mentor finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience within a finance management role,
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications.
