Resourcing Adviser

We are looking for an experienced Resourcing Adviser to join our dynamic Resourcing team. You will play a pivotal role in the recruitment process, ensuring we attract top talent to join Ordnance Survey. You will be responsible for planning and managing resourcing strategies to attract and hire into a variety of roles across our business at all levels.

We are a small team, closely connected with our HRBPs and wider People team, and with excellent technology at our fingertips (Workday is our ATS). You will have the autonomy and space to creatively source challenging roles, coaching hiring managers across our business to create purposeful, stimulating, and empowering hiring experiences for candidates and employees.

You will be responsible for the full recruitment cycle, from briefing, sourcing, selection & design, pre-employment, and onboarding, working closely with recruitment coordinator in managing pre-employment checks ensuring all background checks and onboarding for new hires is completed.

Our Resourcing Advisers work cross-business with opportunities to support areas like Customer, Marketing, Consumer, Product, Geospatial & Data, Technology, Corporate Services and Finance. We are a hybrid team, based at our HQ in Southampton with about 1-2 days a week in the office. About you

  • Of course, you love recruitment! ideally, you have gained your recruitment experience in an in-house resourcing team with a track record of direct sourcing a variety of roles
  • You understand resourcing strategies and can produce new innovative sourcing and attraction solutions for a variety of roles
  • You will have experience using various sourcing methods to attract top talent in sometimes difficult to fill roles as you identify, deliver a high-quality candidate pipeline which where possible provides directly sourced candidates to fill vacancies
  • You will have experience managing multiple recruitment campaigns simultaneously, maintaining a high level of organisation and communication with all stakeholders who are part of the recruitment process
  • You are curious about data and insight, and you understand why and how to use MI to make better decisions
  • You will be in your element taking on a partnering style, managing multiple stakeholders, and influencing and negotiating
  • You are comfortable working autonomously, managing multiple priorities, and working at pace
  • You are a collaborative team player who can also shine individually

  • Salary - £31,442 to £36,990
  • Performance related bonus up to 10%
