Red Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client, the UK's leading provider of specialist vehicles as they seek a HR Generalist to join their Chester based team. The successful individual will be assisting the HR Manager with all HR-related tasks and responsibilities.

This role is based in Chester and the salary is £27,000 per annum.

Previous HR experience is preferred, if not you should have administration experience and want to progress your career in HR.

Key Responsibilities of a HR Generalist:

  • Assisting the HR Manager and comms team on employee engagement initiatives
  • Creating an employer brand and assisting the recruitment team to achieve key goals
  • Assisting the wider business with HR issues, challenges and everyday matters
  • Using HR information systems to gather people data and insights
  • Working with the management team to monitor overall colleague experience, identifying areas of improvement

Key Skills and Experience of a HR Generalist:

  • You should be passionate about HR and people
  • HR Qualification / CIPD level 5 or higher is preferred, if not you should have a passion to work in HR
  • You should be an open, confident and passionate person who can work with colleagues of all levels
  • You will need strong attention to detail as well as good organisation skills
  • IT literate is essential for this role
