Join one of London's largest housing associations as a Fire Safety Assurance Lead. This pivotal role involves delivering Fire Safety assurance programs and providing expert guidance to ensure compliance and best practice across the organisation.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Develop and implement action plans to ensure compliance with Fire Safety standards.
- Provide professional Fire Safety advice and design strategies to scrutinise and assure safety practices.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the delivery of remedial actions.
- Lead and develop the Fire Safety Assurance team to ensure high performance and successful delivery of Fire Safety programmes.
- Monitor and support the implementation of the Fire Safety Risk Management Framework and Assurance programs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- NEBOSH Fire Safety Certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Expert understanding of Fire Safety and its application in social housing, building construction, and/or repairs and maintenance environments.
- Significant expertise in legislation, regulation, policy, and best practice surrounding Fire Safety.
- Proven ability to undertake complex organisational assurance audits and provide quality information and guidance.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively engaging at all levels of the organisation.
- Ability to undertake nationwide travel and possess a full UK driving license.
