Time Type: Full time Worker Type: Employee Technical Claims auditor, reviewing claims of various classes and values in order to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and internal requirements.

The opportunity

Working within Technical Excellence team to review claims of various classes and values to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and internal requirements.

Your new role

  • Conduct internal and external technical claims audits of Lloyd's and company claims. Classes include but are not limited to motor, EL, PL, financial lines, property and marine. Jurisdictions include but are not limited to the UK, mainland Europe, North America, Australia and USA.
  • Support the implementation of the claims audit strategy and achievement of the audit plan

Comply with all relevant policies and procedures

  • Make proposals for improvements so that these can be agreed with managers before implementation
  • Use technology i.e. audit (Athenium/TeamThink) and other QBE/Microsoft standard tools to deliver reports
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders so that their needs can be considered
  • Monitor feedback during audits and responds appropriately so that there is confidence in the audit process
  • Demonstrate customer service approach so that issues can be dealt with professionally and relevant, commercial and sound recommendations made
