URGENT TEMP CC ROLE STARTING WEDNESDAY
We are looking for a Credit Controller to manage a significant ledger in a supportive role and drive the debt collection process. The ideal candidate will be adept at building both internal and external relationships to facilitate efficient debt recovery and maintain exceptional levels of customer service.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Uphold company values related to health and safety, food safety, and socio-environmental responsibilities.
- Comply with all relevant regulatory and legal requirements.
- Meet or exceed set KPIs and annual objectives.
- Proactively chase overdue accounts and monitor payment patterns to minimize bad debt and optimize cash flow.
- Address customer inquiries and issues promptly via email and phone.
- Collaborate with various departments to resolve any hindrances affecting timely payments.
- Negotiate payment terms and manage supply restrictions when necessary.
General Responsibilities:
- Handle administrative tasks related to sales ledger accounts.
- Maintain and update account contact information for new and existing accounts.
- Assess customer creditworthiness and enforce credit terms.
- Manage customer invoice portals and ensure accurate invoice uploads.
- Support management with additional tasks as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in credit control and debt collection.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and administrative processes.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
