Your new company is a global household name based in Manchester City Centre. Due to expansion, they are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. Your new role
In your new role, you will be responsible for
- Use financial data to prepare and record general ledger journal entries
- Prepare cash and balance sheet account reconciliations
- Analysis of financial statements and providing concise explanations for variances
- Research period over period variances in revenue, cost of sales and expense and provide logical explanations for fluctuations
What you'll need to succeed
- You will be part-qualified studying towards ACCA or CIMA with proven experience of financial reporting.
- Skilled in analytical and statistical examination
- You will be a strong communicator, have a proactive approach with a positive attitude, and be driven to progress in your career.
- You must have exceptional analytical skills and a strong attention to detail, along with the ability to manage your own workload in a fast-paced environment.
