Network IT Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a financial services client in London, who are in need of a Security Engineering Lead.
Our client is currently in the midst of a 5+ year, £500 million modernisation programme, which includes flagship workstreams such as a secure MS Azure cloud migration from on-prem, M365 implementation, a new CRM implementation and more, all in the name of maturing the way they utilise technology for security.
This role would be ideal for someone who is technically confident, who could interface between the Head of Security / Security Director, and technical teams made up of Security Architects, Information Security Consultants, Project Managers and Engineers, to provide team leadership, direction
Our client is specifically looking for someone with a Security Engineering background here, with Architecture, Project Management and Consultants in place, this person will interface between all teams to provide technical leadership in an security engineering capacity.
Role: Security Engineering Lead
Duration: 6 Months (possible extension)
Rate: £800-1000 per day
Status: Inside IR35
Location: Central London, 1 core day per week onsite with possibility for more depending on requirements
Key Skills:
- Must come from a technical security / security engineering background, with leadership experience of multi-skilled teams.
- Technical skills in areas such as Zero Trust Architecture / IAM tooling / DevSecOps / Network Segmentation.
- Cloud Security experience would be a strong preference: Azure / M365 / Azure AD / SaaS
- Risk Management frameworks such as NIST CSF / ISF / CSA.
- Financial Services experience is a must, to understand UK regulatory implications and constraints of the work being conducted.
- Able to engage with senior stakeholders, and support the Head of Security in the programme and workstream delivery activities.
- Preference for security qualifications such as CISSP / CISM / CISA.
