Description
- Assess, maintain and generate existing and new Standard Operating Procedures (SoP) and Quality Acceptance Standards (QAS).
- Passionately drive QA standards including continuous improvement in all areas across the business. Help to develop a quality mindset across all teams.
- Perform daily process confirmation audits across all areas internally and externally to identify noncompliance of quality procedures, standards, and specifications. Conduct non-conformance investigation feedback to various levels of management and coach production teams to achieve process compliance.
- Be a QA representative during new product development (NPD) and product evaluation trials (PET) ensuring that such information is communicated to relevant stakeholders.
- Write and maintain QA procedures.
- Support the Management Systems team to meet the commitment to comply with QMS 9001:2015, EMS 14001:2015
- Actively step up, make decisions and lead the team in the absence of the Quality Manager
- Custodian of data and monitor departmental KPI's
Profile
- Internal auditing to recognised by certification
- Ability to analyse problems, detect root cause and resolve issues.
- Good awareness of 'right first time'(RFT), 'on time in full' (OTIF) metrics and targets.
- Ability to meet and maintain SHEQ and 5s initiatives.
- Proven track record of quality audit and inspection of suppliers.
- A positive approach to problem solving.
- Working Knowledge of ISO9001:2015.
