I am recruiting for a Senior Technical Consultant & Support Specialist to work remotely.
The role sits within the technical team who are a small and high-skilled team within the Trust and Identity services team, they work to provide support via their email based service desk, consultancy is provided both remotely and face-to-face, as well as supporting underpinning infrastructure for T&I services and working closely with the development team to develop new services and improvements to existing services
In this pivotal role you will be expected to support the Trust and Identity consultancy service, which offers a tailored service, understanding specific needs of organisations requiring Trust and Identity services, providing them with hands-on support with the areas of SAML, Shibboleth, FreeRADIUS and Microsoft NPS.
You will have worked within Trust & Identity previously, this must be clearly visible on your CV.
You must have demonstrable experience of operating as a lead in a technical development / support area.
Experience or advance knowledge in Shibboleth Identity & service provider platforms FreeRADIUS or Microsoft NPS would be preferable.
System administration experience of both Linux and Windows platforms.
System administration experience of Linux based applications such as Apache HTTPD.
You must have the ability to translate complex customer requirements into functional solutions.
