The role
Our client, a growing manufacturing company in Stourbridge is looking to recruit an accounts assistant to join their busy team. As an accounts assistant you will be faced with a variety of tasks daily which will all contribute to the smooth running of the business.
Your main duties (not limited to)
- The completion of timely and accurate quarterly management accounts.
- Cash flow management
- Reconciliation of bank accounts including invoice factoring account
- Reconciling purchase ledger and sales ledger
- VAT returns and associated HMRC compliance
- Maintain fixed asset register and calculate depreciation
- Collating wages for external payroll provider
- Overseeing all accounts functions
- Management of CIS tax
- Paying suppliers and the occasional foreign payments
- Experience of Sage 50
- Experience of Microsoft office
- Collating information for P11D's
- Organizing and being the key contact for insurance policies
- Key contact with banks
- Purchase ledger management
