Simon Acres Recruitment are proud to represent for a luxury Interiors company based in Oxfordshire who are looking for a Assistant Showroom Manager.

Our client's brand is exquisite with uncompromising quality, timeless aesthetics, and exceptional customer service. We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Assistant Showroom Manager to support showroom operations and play a pivotal role in driving profitability. As an Assistant Showroom Manager, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of supporting the Showroom Manager in overseeing the showroom's day-to-day operations while strategically focusing on driving profitability and enhancing the overall client experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Profit Maximisation: Develop and execute strategies alongside the Showroom Manager to drive showroom profitability, including achieving and exceeding sales targets, optimising product placement, and managing operating costs
  • Client Engagement: Lead by example in providing an exceptional, personalized experience to clients visiting the showroom. Ensure that client needs are understood and met while maintaining a strong focus on upselling and cross-selling.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate showroom staff, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and a customer-centric approach. Provide guidance, coaching, and training as needed.
  • Visual Merchandising: Collaborate with the design team to create visually captivating displays and layouts that reflect the brand's luxury image and inspire clients.
  • Performance Analysis: Regularly analyse showroom performance metrics, such as sales, foot traffic, conversion rates, and customer feedback, to make data-driven decisions and continuously improve operations alongside the Showroom Manager.
  • Budget Management: Manage the showroom budget effectively, ensuring cost control while maintaining the highest standards of quality and service alongside the Showroom Manager.
  • Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings to make informed decisions and maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably within the luxury market or high-end retail industry
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and lead a sales-focused team
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to drive profitability
  • A keen eye for luxury aesthetics and interior trends
