Cover Supervisor - Wakefield

About the Role: GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor for a full-time position in Wakefield, with an immediate start date. This role involves managing classroom activities in the absence of the subject teacher and maintaining a conducive learning environment.

Job Summary:
- Supervise students and ensure they carry out pre-prepared educational activities and tasks.
- Maintain discipline according to the school policies.
- Manage classroom resources and space effectively.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure that lesson objectives set by a teacher are met.
- Support students in completing tasks and understanding the material.
- Report back on the behaviour of pupils during the class and any issues arising.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to promote a positive learning environment.
- Good interpersonal and organisational skills.
