Role Overview: We seek an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support students, particularly those with special educational needs and low academic abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to students with ASD and SEMH needs.
- Assist small groups with tailored academic support.
- Communicate daily with parents about their child's progress.
- Accompany students to the Inclusive Hub and report back to teachers.
- Collaborate with staff to create an inclusive classroom environment.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications in education or a related field.
- Experience with special educational needs (SEN) is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting children's learning.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
