Our client is on the hunt for a dynamic Import Freight Coordinator to rock their overseas transport game - If you've got the skills to ensure smooth sailing (and flying) for our clients goods, we want YOU!
What You'll Be Up To:
- Organise all overseas transport and tackle any challenges that come your way.
- Get the best price quotes for shipments, ensuring they always get the best bang for their buck!
- Regularly meet with freight forwarders to guarantee top-notch customer service.
- Keep their transport tender current and ensure timely invoice reviews and approvals.
- Handle TSS declarations, customs clearance, and ensure all goods are coded and cleared correctly.
- Work with the Logistics Stock Controller to maintain and analyse transport rates, flagging any discrepancies.
- Review and research commodity codes and duty rates quarterly, especially for new products.
- Build strong bonds with transport companies, suppliers, and internal teams.
