We are seeking dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistants to support children with special educational needs (SEND) across a range of schools in South London. Our schools cater to children and young adults aged 5-18 with diverse SEND needs, including Autism, SEMH, severe learning difficulties, and speech and language communication challenges.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, focusing on their learning development and care needs. While prior experience working with SEND students is beneficial, it is not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided. However, experience in a school-based environment is required, ensuring you have the foundational skills to support students within an educational setting.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support children or young adults in their educational development
- Provide assistance with personal care, if necessary
- Build strong, positive relationships with both students and staff
- Hold or be willing to obtain a valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
- Commit to working full-time, 5 days a week, for a minimum of 1-6 months

Job Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young adults with learning difficulties or disabilities
- Care-based experience is a plus
- A valid DBS or willingness to apply for one
- Available full-time, 5 days a week, with a minimum commitment of 1-6 months
