My client based in Teesside is looking for a CNC Machinist to join their team on a permanent basis.
The ideal candidate for the role would have experience operating CNC Lathe and Vertical Borer machines to an advanced level and be able to hit the ground running.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Operate and set up CNC machines to produce precision parts
- Programming to prepare jaws, parallels, jigs or fixtures
- To follow engineering drawings and specifications
- Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines, ensuring they operate smoothly and efficiently
- To work with a range of materials
- Measure and examine completed parts to verify conformance to specifications using precision tools like micrometres and calipers
- To operate computer systems for the loading of programs and recording of work activities
- All other workshop requirements as and when required, including housekeeping duties to keep a clean and tidy work environment
Salary: £34-£44k, experience dependant
Hours: 2 shift pattern, rotating weekly
