This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about working with young people and making a real difference in their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in the planning, preparation, and delivery of differentiated lessons to ensure all students can engage with the curriculum.
  • Promote an inclusive and positive learning environment that encourages independence and confidence in students.
  • Support students' social and emotional development, helping them to manage behavior and overcome barriers to learning.
  • Work closely with the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) and other support staff to implement individual learning plans (ILPs) and strategies.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents/carers as required.
  • Assist with classroom management and ensure a safe, supportive, and respectful atmosphere.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with young people, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Understanding of special educational needs (SEN) and strategies to support students with diverse learning needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping young people succeed.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent) are advantageous but not essential.

What We Offer:

  • A supportive and welcoming team of professionals dedicated to student success.
  • Opportunities for professional development and career progression.
  • A stimulating and inclusive working environment in the heart of Kensington & Chelsea.
  • Access to excellent facilities and resources.
