Sampling Technician

We are seeking a dedicated Sampling Technician to join our client's Quality Policy and Compliance team. This is a 6-month temporary position where you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality service to customers and regulators. You will ensure that sampling and analysis meet ISO/IEC 17025 standards and that statutory and regulatory responsibilities regarding drinking water and wastewater are fulfilled.
This would be an amazing opportunity for an immediately available, local science graduate looking for experience working in the scientific industry. ALL TRAINING PROVIDED!
Day to Day of the role:
- Conduct regulatory and non-regulatory sampling with knowledge and competency.
- Interact professionally with customers and the public.
- Execute sampling and monitoring programmes efficiently.
- Support investigations to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Maintain and clean sampling equipment in line with ISO17025 and regulatory requirements.
- Complete documentation accurately and maintain field test equipment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Science or equivalent experience with experience with conducting analytical work and recoding data.
- Open to work on rotating shift pattern.
- IT literate with proficiency in WORD, EXCEL, OUTLOOK, and LIMS.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work to deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
Essential:
- Full Driving Licence & Car to get to work, with the ability to travel as required for conduct sample retrieval using company provided vehicle.
