Live in or Live out Child-Friendly Housekeeper job in Wallingford, Oxfordshire
Accommodation: Separate cottage to the main house with garden, pets welcome and partners will be considered.
Salary: £35,000 for Live in & up to £42,000 for Live Out (gross per annum)
Lovely relaxed informal couple with 4 children aged 12, 10, 8 & 6 are looking to employ a proactive and energetic child-friendly Housekeeper to help them out in their stunning 6-bedroom home in Oxfordshire. The family previously had a nanny although now that the children are at school the role is predominantly housekeeping. Mum will be around and is very hands-on when the children are back from school. Although they are looking for someone who would be happy to watch over the children if mum must pop out. The family also have a dog.
Your main duties will involve:
- All housekeeping duties
- Laundry and ironing
- Occasional school pick-ups
- Preparing meals mainly for the children in the evening occasionally for the parents
- Running errands
- Travel with the family (not essential but a bonus)
- Babysitting Twice a month for an evening
The ideal candidate would be flexible, warm, friendly, and able to take initiative. Someone with a muck-in attitude would be ideal and someone who is happy to really get stuck into housekeeping and laundry and has a good eye for detail.
It is essential that you can drive, although a car can be provided. Occasional work may be required on the weekend although you would take a day off in the week to make up for this.
Working days and hours: 40 hours, Live Out - Mon - Fri 11 am - 7 pm, Live in - 8-hour day - with some split shifts
