optimising healthcare provider are looking for Policy, Strategy and Communications Coordinator to join their team for an initial 3 months with a view to extended further on a fixed term contract.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Policy, Strategy, and Communications Co-ordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in supporting and advancing our organizational mission by managing and optimizing engagement, communication, and strategic planning efforts. As a central part of our corporate function, you will work closely with various teams to enhance our impact and effectiveness in the sector.

Key Responsibilities:

General Duties:

Planning, organising and setting up online events for 200+ delegates

Utilise MS Excel to develop and maintain intuitive member contact resources.

Lead the establishment and upkeep of a senior leaders' contact database that aligns with corporate requirements.

Collaborate with member bodies to build and sustain a comprehensive contact database.

Assist in creating and maintaining high-quality engagement channels and promotional materials, including digital products (videos, social media content) and print formats.

Oversee responses to unsubscribed, bounced-back, and undelivered bulk mailings, and leverage this information for database maintenance.

Produce high-standard written communications tailored to diverse audience needs.

Planning,Organisingg, and Delivering Corporate Priorities:

Support the coordination and execution of effective digital engagement activities, including direct marketing resources, in line with the annual work plan of the Policy, Strategy, and Communications team.

Communication:

Simplify technical information for various audiences, including formatting internal professional presentations.

Foster effective relationships with staff, suppliers, and stakeholders through clear and open communication.

Advocate for the benefits and features of various engagement approaches and delivery options.

Verify contact information with externalorganisationss.

Analytical and Judging Skills:

Set up and maintain electronic storage systems according to team requirements and information governance policies.

Assist in evaluating engagement activities and collecting feedback.

Proactively adapt work priorities to meet shifting demands and priorities.

Service Development:

Communicate strategic aims and priorities clearly, ensuring message consistency.

Deliver work according to in-house brand guidelines, quality standards, and timelines, adhering to quality assurance and sign-off procedures.

Implement a system for collating, reviewing, and updating contact information based on customer feedback to enhance the customer experience.

Professional Development:

Engage in the Annual Performance Appraisal process and pursue relevant training opportunities as outlined in your Personal Development Plan.

Actively participate in the PSC Unity Group, including meetings and task delivery as per the group's terms of reference.

Develop delivery plans and monitoring systems, and lead by example in demonstrating teamwork and collaboration.

Effort and Working Environment:

Physical Effort: Predominantly office-based with light physical effort required for carrying documents and a laptop.

Mental Effort: Frequent concentration needed for data checking and recording, with flexibility required for dealing with interruptions.

Emotional Effort: Rare exposure to distressing or highly emotional circumstances.

Working Conditions: Standard office environment with extensive computer use. Occasional travel for external meetings may be required.

Qualifications and Skills:

Proficiency in MS Excel and experience in database management.

Strongorganisationall and planning skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Ability to create engaging and high-quality promotional materials.

Familiarity with digital engagement strategies and evaluation methods.

Understanding of data protection guidelines and information governance policies.
