Axon Moore are pleased to partner with a leading business based in Preston as they look to recruit a Finance Manager for an initial 6 month contract to support the finance function with the production of monthly management accounts, VAT, reporting and year end audit
Key responsibilities
- Production of monthly management accounts (P&L and balance sheet)
- Completion of Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Analysis of monthly costs & investigation of variances to budget/forecast
- Assisting with preparation of annual budgets & monthly and quarterly forecasts
- Assisting with production of supporting schedules for annual statutory accounts & tax returns
- Ad hoc analysis as required
- Openly communicate and build good working relationships with internal stake holders
- Communicate effectively with team colleagues and drive improvements in processes
The successful candidate will be qualified (ACCA, CIMA or ACA) with a proven background across high volume business, strong stakeholder management and expertise in producing management accounts to strict deadline
