Spencer Clarke Group is looking for an experienced SEN Maths Teacher to partner up with our SEN school to deliver dedicated and tailored learning support and tutoring to children with a range of SEN needs. As a Maths Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the academic and personal development of students while fostering a love for learning. Qualified teachers preferred but anyone with experience teaching SEN Maths lessons is encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities:
- Utilise your expertise in SEN education to create engaging lesson plans that cater to various learning styles.
- Implement applied behaviour analysis techniques to support students with diverse learning needs.
- Provide individualised instruction to students in Maths and offering extra support as needed
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student growth and development.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to education.
- Monitor student progress through assessments and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students under your care
Experience:
- Prior experience working with children in SEN or SEMH educational settings.
- Knowledge of special education practices and principles.
- Proficiency in childhood education methodologies.
- Ability to effectively communicate and educate students of varying abilities.
- Familiarity with childcare practices is a plus.
