Part-Time PE Cover Supervisor - Location: Southampton
Days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday
Salary: £132.31 - £195.05 per day
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Cover Supervisor with a passion for education and ideally a specialism in PE to join our friendly and supportive school community in Hythe. This part-time role requires someone confident and flexible to cover PE lessons regularly, while ensuring a positive learning environment across various subjects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of teachers
- Ensure students remain focused on pre-set work and assist with any questions
- Support with PE lessons and engage students in practical activities
- Maintain classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Provide feedback to the department on student engagement
- Ensure work is completed and returned for assessment
Requirements:
- Experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar role within a UK school
- Comfortable covering PE lessons regularly
- A degree in any subject is preferred but not essential
- Understanding of school safeguarding policies and procedures
