Full Time, Car Driver
Duties include:
- Responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of the purchase ledger team and will be an escalation point for queries from staff and suppliers regarding payments and invoices.
- The post holder will oversee the weekly supplier BACS payment run, coordinating with internal customers, external suppliers and bank signatories to ensure payments are processed on time.
- A key element of the role is managing the flow of work, prioritising accordingly and producing weekly KPIs for senior management.
- In addition, monitoring the aged creditors report and supplier reconciliations to ensure the purchase ledger is accurately maintained.
Requirements:
- You need to be a quick thinker who can evidence your aptitude for problem solving whilst overseeing the work of the team and working to tight deadlines.
- Strong communication, team direction and prioritisation skills are all essential criteria for this role.
- Experience in implementing new systems and process improvements is preferable because enhancements to the purchase ledger are planned within the next 12 months.
