We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Content Apprentice to join our team based from Ruskin Mill College in Nailsworth near Stroud. With the Trust growing in size, this is an exciting time to join us and add further strength to our team.
As a Digital Content Apprentice you will receive on the job training and support whilst assisting with our marketing efforts to promote the Trust and increase engagement.
Would you like to:
- Work in conjunction with the Trust Head of IT and website and Social Media Content Co-ordinator to review and update Ruskin Mill Trust's website in a timely manner ensuring the aesthetics and all on-line presence follows the Trust's brand guidelines.
- Work in conjunction with the Trust Head of IT and website and Social Media Content Co-ordinator to create new website functionality or new areas within existing websites as necessary.
- Use Adobe products to perform some photo and video editing duties.
Essential Experience/Skills:
- Good Understanding of Adobe products; primarily Photoshop
- Ability to create and edit basic video files
- Understanding of social media channels, especially Facebook, Instagram, X & LinkedIn
- Willingness to learn about various technologies and their use within Ruskin Mill
Desirable Experience:
- Experience of understanding of Search Engine Optimisation
- Previous experience of advertising on platforms such as Facebook
- Analytics - Google Analytics, Facebook
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the nature of the business candidates must be aged 18 or over.
Qualifications:
- 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
- The learner must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship in a similar subject
