Main Areas of Responsibility

Reporting to the assistant principal responsible for sixth form and careers, your responsibilities will fall under the areas of:

  • Sixth form recruitment and admissions
  • Sixth form administration and communication
  • The bursary process
  • Support for the smooth running of the sixth form
  • Work experience, pathways and destinations
  • Careers administration and communication

What We are Looking For

We would like to hear from you if you have:

  • English and Maths GCSE to at least grade C or equivalent
  • Previous experience in working in Secondary Schools, Colleges or any other Post 16 education establishment
  • High quality ICT skills (and a willingness to undertake training when required), used to promote effective administration, organisation, communication and management
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with attention to detail
  • The ability to quickly gain and maintain credibility and rapport with students, staff and parents/carers
  • Good telephone manner and presentation of professional image
  • Good organisational & interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm, focused and professional at all times.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills and sensitivity and maturity in complex situations
