Vision Teaching are currently on the lookout for a confidenr, passionate and energetic SEN TA to join and Ofsted rated ‘Good' school in Hounslow. This will be a long-term role to start in September 2024. The ideal KS1 SEN TA will be someone who wants to make a difference and enjoys working with pupils with various needs. Experience with SEND would be ideal.
As a SEN TA, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a range of learning and behavioural needs. Your responsibilities will include:
The role
- Assisting students in the classroom to ensure their engagement and understanding.
- Providing one-on-one support to students with various needs such as ADHD, ASD and behavioural needs
- Working with small groups to help break down learning.
- Collaborating with teachers and the SEN department to create tailored learning plans.
- Encouraging independence, confidence, and a love for learning amongst students
The ideal candidate will be:
- Nurturing and patient with students with SEN
- Fantastic communication and interpersonal skills
- Someone who has a ‘can do' attitude
- Have experience working with pupils with SEND
Requirements
- Reference confirming suitability for the role
- An understanding of safeguarding
- An Enhanced DBS
