About the Role

We are collaborating with exceptional SEN schools in Flitwick that provide specialized support for children with a wide range of educational, social, and developmental needs. These schools are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to help students reach their full potential through high-quality teaching and learning practices.

This education and training role will give you hands-on experience in challenging environments, helping you build foundational skills for your future career. Working with pupils who may display complex or anti-social behaviours, you'll gain essential experience in de-escalation techniques and supportive communication.

Pay: £85 - £95 per day

Sector: Education and Training

Hours: Full-time, 8:30 am to 3:45 pm

Ideal for graduates aspiring to careers in Clinical Psychology, Youth Work, or Criminal Justice

Requirements:

  • Personal or professional experience working with children or young people (preferred but not essential)
  • A caring, energetic, and enthusiastic approach
  • Ability to work effectively within a team alongside teaching and support staff
  • Willingness to assist with personal care, if required
  • Initiative and passion for supporting children and young people with special educational needs

What You Need to Apply:
