Project Manager
Salary - £95,000 +5% bonus
Location - Leeds (2 days per week in the office, 3 days WFH)
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Project Manager to join Robert Walters as a Workforce Consultant. As an employed Workforce Consultant, you will benefit from permanent employment with Robert Walters and will be deployed on an interim or project basis into our clients' organisations, in return we will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills with ongoing training and professional accreditations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering projects from inception to agreed business outcomes, following quality standards and within agreed baselines of time, budget and scope. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned project manager with experience in financial services or government regulatory bodies.

What you'll do:
As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful delivery of business, operating model and technology change projects. You will be instrumental in building strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation, managing expectations and facilitating key decisions. Your expertise in developing detailed project plans will ensure the successful delivery of business outcomes. You will also be responsible for identifying and sourcing resources to meet time and cost expectations. Your ability to resolve dependencies, issues and risks will be crucial in ensuring smooth project delivery.
- Deliver projects from inception to agreed business outcomes, adhering to quality standards and within agreed baselines of time, budget and scope.
- Build and manage stakeholder relationships across the organisation, managing expectations, defining and agreeing scope, facilitating key decisions.
- Develop project plans, deliverables and milestones to successfully deliver business outcomes.
- Identify and source resources to achieve time and cost expectations.
- Resolve dependencies, issues and risks within delivery.
- Ensure delivery adheres to Project Management Policies, Standards and Methods and Governance Framework.
What you bring:
As an experienced Project Manager, you bring a wealth of knowledge in managing successful business and technology change projects. Your experience in shaping business ideas into detailed project plans for multi-workstream delivery is essential for this role. You have proven experience in planning and controlling project delivery. Your leadership skills enable you to guide people through structural, procedural and cultural changes. Your excellent communication skills allow you to engage effectively with all levels of the organisation. Furthermore, your ability to influence and negotiate ensures that you can effectively manage stakeholder expectations.
- Experience managing successful business and technology change projects (£multi-million) in Financial Services or for a government or regulatory body.
- Experience shaping business ideas into detailed project plans for multi-workstream delivery.
- Experience of planning and controlling project delivery.
- Ability to lead people through structural, procedural and cultural change.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to engage all levels of the organisation.
- Ability to use influencing and negotiating techniques.
