This is a superb opportunity to join a high-quality FMCG Wholesale business that is currently growing rapidly both in the UK and across Europe. Continued success along with an ambitious growth plan now requires the hiring of two talented National Account Sales Managers. One for the UK market and one for the European market (additional language skills required).

Product categories include Household; Beauty and Cosmetics; Personal Care; Soft Drinks; Confectionary; Grocery; Chocolate and Snacks.

The business is growing rapidly with continued ambitious growth plans. Their growth is driven by a strong supportive culture and strong motivations to achieve future success.

The ideal National Account Manager candidate will possess:

  • At least three years' sales experience in the discount market, in wholesale or for an FMCG manufacturer
  • Ideally experience with product categories: Beauty and Cosmetics; Personal Care; Soft Drinks; Confectionary; Grocery; Chocolate and Snacks
  • Highly numerate and able to use MS applications to a competent level
  • Solid commercial awareness and analytical skills
  • Have a proven track record of delivering results through your own initiative and tenacity
  • Able to develop existing relationships and build new customer acquisition
  • Additional European languages required for European role along with experience of selling into European markets

Additional National Account Manager requirements include the following attributes:

  • Pro-Active in driving commercial opportunities and in building supplier relationships
  • Agile approach and able to deal with constant change and moving opportunities
  • Relationships - must be an exceptionally strong relationship builder both externally with customers but also internally especially with the sales teams
  • Vision - be able to see the bigger picture and long-term goals
  • Grounded - willing to roll sleeves up and do the mundane
  • Judgement - able to make good calls under pressure
  • Nice - just be nice :)
